LPH-1AX HF Medium/Long Range RLPA 2-50 MHz 5 dBi 65 Degree

The LPH-1AX antenna is a light weight, high strength rotatable log periodic antenna which provides excellent HF performance in the 2 to 50 MHz band. The antenna is an extended fequency range version of the LPH-1A and provides excellent reliability in the medium to long range HF circuits. It allows high power communications between a fixed station and mobile station, such as ships, aircraft or tactical deployments and is suitable for use where limited space and difficult access are encountered. The antenna system is supplied with a 60 foot tall tower that is primarily constructed of aluminum with the longest single piece being 12 feet; the entire system can easily be roof mounted. A 60 foot tall self supporting tower is also available. The rotator is controlled remotely to any azimuth with the antenna heading being indicated by a digital readout located on the remote control, a rotary joint allows continuous rotation. Equipment supplied includes the radiation array, support booms, rotator, tower, guys, feedline, balun and remote control box with computer control interface (RS-232).

Available optional equipment includes tower heights of 24, 36, 48 or 60 feet, obstruction lights, erection winch, erection kit, coaxial cable, connector adapters, and mating adapters.
