Description

The DPV-113 is a 30-50 MHz broadband, passive, vertically polarized dipole that does not require a tuner for operation. The antenna is designed to withstand and operate in a worse case wind loading of 150 MPH wind with no ice.

The antenna is designed to mount to the end of a 4.50 inch diameter pipe. The antenna base fits over the pipe and is secured with four 3/8-16 SST bolts. This mounting method makes installation easier as the antenna will support itself as the bolts are being tightened.

The radome is made with high strength filament wound epoxy fiberglass and painted with a MIL-DTL-53039B chemical agent resistant coating (CARC). The CARC paint is available in several colors. The mount base is CARC painted aluminum.
