The DPV-51 antenna consists of two vertically polarized omnidirectional, dipoles fed in phase, covering the frequency range 225 to 400 MHz. These dipoles are sealed in a single fiberglass radome that provides both mechanical stability and environmental protection. The antenna is designed for ground-to-air communication and use in extreme environment. It is provided with a coaxial mounting arrangement to mount atop a 2-1/2 inch or a 1-1/4 inch IPS pipe, enclosing the electrical connections away from the environment.
