The DPV-49N antenna consists of four vertically polarized, omnidirectional dipoles fed in phase covering the frequency range of 1200 to 2000 MHz. The dipoles are housed in a single radome that provides both mechanical stability and environmental protection. The antenna is designed for mobile ground communications and use in an extreme environment. The base is mounted to array by a spring to protect the antenna from shock and overhead obstructions that are encountered.
