Antenna Products Corp., a leading developer and manufacturer of high quality antenna systems for military, aviation, electronic toll, and communication applications is pleased to report recent additions to its senior management team. James McLean, PhD has joined the Company as Chief Scientist, David Brushingham has joined as Director of Business Development and Brian Patrick has joined as Senior Quality Manager.
James McLean, PhD. has joined Antenna Products as its Chief Scientist. In this role he will be primarily responsible for the Company’s new antenna developments including antennas for passive inter-modulation (PIM) sensitive applications and high-powered high-frequency (HF) antenna development. Dr. McLean came to Antenna Products after a solid tenure at TDK Corp. where he focused on EMC antennas, antenna metrology and ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna development. Dr. McLean received his PhD. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. McLean has substantial technical writing and presentation experience and is the inventor or co-inventor on 17 patents relating to antennas.
David Brushingham has joined Antenna Products as its Director of Business Development. Mr. Brushingham will be primarily responsible for expanding Antenna Products’ offering and increase its presence in the military markets. Mr. Brushingham served 21 years in the United States Army including service in El Salvador, Iraq and Afghanistan. While in the 5th Special Forces Group Mr. Brushingham was actively involved in the Ground Force Modernization Program including the testing and procurement of a broad range of wireless products. Mr. Brushingham was previously the Business Development Manager at Shakespeare Military Antennas.
Brian Patrick has joined Antenna Products as its Senior Quality Manager. Mr. Patrick will manage all quality assurance and quality control functions at the Company. Mr. Patrick worked for 20 years with increasingly greater quality related responsibility in the United States Air Force. He then worked for 12 years with Boeing Aerospace with a final position of Quality Senior Manager supervising a Quality Assurance team of over 300 people. Mr. Patrick has a Master of Science Degree in Quality Systems Management, a Bachelor Degree in Operations Management and holds the American Society of Quality titles of Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
